Ashley and Chraig Tie The Knot In A Stunning Destination Wedding

Ashley and Chraig said “I do,” this past November in Cancún, Mexico. Their breathtaking seaside ceremony was so beautiful, you’d never guess how much of their plans had been derailed by the pandemic.

“We got engaged in November 2019, and began planning our dream destination wedding right before Covid struck. Just as we began sending out invitations, the world shut down in March 2020, and we didn't know what would happen, how long anything was going to last, like so many Covid brides I was in panic mode!” - Ashley

As upsetting as it was to have to rearrange her original vision for her wedding day, Ashley’s friends and family came together to help her plan a perfect, intimate destination wedding. Her bridesmaids stood by her side in an elegant range of mismatched, soft pink dresses that showed off each woman’s style while creating an effortless look perfect for the beachy tone of the wedding. 

Ashley stunned in Sophia Tolli style Ariella, looking perfectly romantic for her wedding day. The flowing, floral dress was perfect for the wedding she planned: effortlessly elegant, yet dramatic enough to ensure no one would be able to take their eyes off of her. 

“There were too many favorite moments to count, from the first look before our ceremony and my husband seeing me for the very first time in my dream dress, it was full of so much emotion and just so beautiful,” says Ashley. We couldn’t agree more—choosing a favorite moment out of this wedding is practically impossible!

“Even with 32 guests, we didn't want to skip out on the small details, because, well, it was our day, and one we would remember for the rest of our lives!” - Ashley

And skip out on details they did not: Ashley walked down the aisle to a live saxophonist, and she and her bridesmaids planned a fun, surprise dance routine to the 2010 Bruno Mars hit “Marry You” at the reception. Even though the guest list had to be shrunk down for everyone’s health and safety, loved ones tuned in to the wedding virtually, so Ashley and Chraig felt the love from all over the world.
